Shopmobility provides the solution to many of the problems
faced by those who have impaired mobility by providing wheelchairs and powered
scooters.
The scheme is designed to encourage independence and provide freedom of choice
in your lifestyle. With Shopmobility, you may now be able to get on with your
errands, without relying on the assistance of a carer, friend or family member.
You need to call in to your local Shopmobility site in Northwich or Winsford to
register. On your first visit you will need to show identification, bring two
passport-sized photographs and complete an application form. Registration costs
£5.00 for 12 months, entitling you to free use of scooters and manual
wheelchairs in either Northwich or Winsford.
Once registered, you can book Shopmobility equipment by telephone or in person
on a first-come-first-served basis.
