Vale Royal Disability Services is a registered charity managed and staffed by personnel who have direct experience of disability or who have received disability awareness training and are committed to equal opportunities.

For a brief history of  the organisation please click this link

Our aim is to improve the quality of life of disabled people within the Vale Royal area of Cheshire and provide free, confidential and impartial information to disabled people, their family, friends and carers.

This is achieved by the provision of information to ensure that individuals do not suffer through lack of knowledge of their rights and responsibilities, or of the services available, or through an inability to express their needs effectively. This is a picture of Mark the centre tutor with one of the centres most successful learners

Our aim is to actively work to promote and foster a greater understanding and awareness of disability by voluntary and statutory authorities, and to exercise an influence on the development of social policies, both locally and nationally.

We need to have accurate and reliable information and we continue to update and monitor all information collected and collated to ensure it is of a wide ranging nature that is appropriate to every aspect of a disabled person's life.

It is important for this service to reach as many people as possible and to let them know of our existence. One of the most effective methods is through the particularly good relationships we have with Vale Royal Borough Council,  the Western Cheshire NHS PCT  the Central and East Cheshire NHS PCT  Cheshire County Council,  Cheshire Social Services and  local voluntary groups whose front-line staff are in regular contact with disabled people, their families, carers and friends.

We already make a major contribution to the quality of life for many people.  We want to reach out to everyone, so everyone must help to spread the word.

How can we help you?
