Vale Royal Disability Services: VRDS
Vale Royal Disability Services is a user-led voluntary organisation, founded in 1991. VRDS is a Social Enterprise Company limited by Guarantee.
Operating primarily within Central Cheshire, our principal aim is to improve the quality of life of disabled people. VRDS is a member of the 'my life my choice' consortium.

| Information service | Each VRDS location provides free, independent and confidential disability information to disabled people, their families and carers. |
| Learning service | Our fully accessible Learning Centre, which is based in Northwich, provides opportunities for disabled and non-disabled adults to access individual learning packages, to enrich their life and improve their employment prospects. |
| Shopmobility service | VRDS Shopmobility Services based in Northwich and Winsford have a range of electric scooters, wheelchairs and walking frames available to people with limited mobility, as well as a Disability Information Service and a Short-term Wheelchair Loan Service. |
| Supporting People service | The VRDS Supporting People Service empowers physically disabled adults to live independently within the community. The service provides a wide range of support and advice to meet individual requirements. |
| Welfare Rights service | VRDS offers a free Welfare Rights Service to disabled people in the area who need benefits advice. If mobility is an issue then a home visit can be arranged. |
| Newsletter | VRDS publishes a Monthly Newsletter, covering a wide range of topics of interest to disabled people, carers and professionals in that field. It is distributed by email free of charge. |
| Meeting and Testing | The VRDS Meeting and Testing facility offers flexible layouts, digital projection and wi-fi, free car parking, accessible facilities and a variety of catering options. |
